WEEKLY PHOTO CHALLENGE: COMMUNITY

.

I MAY WELL GET THUMPED

.

for this, but I really really really can’t resist misinterpreting the rules a little. Does a ‘screenshot’ count as a photo? Possibly not, so this week I’m going to have two cracks at it—

Ishaiya's

—and you can’t growl at me (heck, it’s even labelled ‘Community’).

So there …

The little white dots seem non-events in my post here, but on Ishaiya’s site they’re drifting snowflakes and very pretty, fully in keeping with the season; and dammit, I wish I’d thought of them (and had the know how).

COMMUNITY

according the ol’ Mac’s on-board screen-top dictionary … actually, it raves on for whole paras so here’s just the most relevant of them—

3 a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals : the sense of community that organized religion can provide.
• [in sing. ] a similarity or identity : writers who shared a community of interests.
• joint ownership or liability : a commitment to the community of goods.

—certainly can’t argue with that one. Heck, I even recognise (SFX: insert modest blush here, please) the ol’ dog in there. Sniff … on with the show—
4 Ecology a group of interdependent organisms of different species growing or living together in a specified habitat : communities of insectivorous birds.
• a set of species found in the same habitat or ecosystem at the same time.

—well … this could be a bit of a ‘stocking stuffer’

Oops, gotta rush. Launch post as is where is:

  1. Under ‘Settings’ then ‘General’. At the bottom of the screen you will find a tab that allows you to switch the snow on.
Maybe I should post my entry for this week’s challenge, now that I have a fresh batch of photos from sunny London.
