WPC: CREEPY

WOW!

At last a challenge that really rings the ol’ bell. If it’s creepy you want, I live close to Invercargill and you don’t get no more creeps per acre than us (and that’s just the ones infesting City Hall). Boom boom!

TRADITIONAL CREEPY

apologies to the long dead photographer and anyone else I may be offending. This shot was snapped from an old book I scampered through recently, it shows how some American sailors filled their passing hours when wintering over close to some Inuits—

Screen Shot 2015-08-15 at 16.43.57—what is really creepy is that the life, the joy, the sheer innocent vitality of those girls … is now all gone, departed, history.

So the camera momentarily captured a few patterns in time and space: creeeeepeeeeee~!

THEN HOW ABOUT

a little closer to home—

Screen Shot 2015-08-15 at 16.45.44—wherein the chances are excellent that to mourn the passing of that lady and her cute wee infant would be premature? I certainly hope so …

If you do think that (and I trust you do) I’d say that you are a nice person but one with little concept of Time and Space. Let’s move on, lots to do and see—

BURT MUNRO’s

Screen Shot 2015-08-15 at 16.49.03claim to fame (and it’s a good one!) is that he inspired Sir Anthony Hopkins’s role in the movie “The World’s Fastest Indian”, which I must Screen Shot 2015-08-15 at 17.06.08admit I’ve never seen. Creepy is that this fantastic guy (Burt Munro: I have seen some of his workmanship—talk about true dedication~!) is now serving in the office of comfortable perch for the smaller minded. And now this—

Screen Shot 2015-08-15 at 16.14.28which some will have seen before. In brief, The Spouse was forty kilometres away and having lunch at the same time as I was having a sandwich gobble with flask coffee whilst performing a mundane task. I had enough time to spare for doodling, not knowing that she likewise … and these are our doodles.

To say that we were creepied a bit when we saw each others efforts and discovered the synchronicity involved … well, yes … creepy~!

    1. Wimmin? I get round that obstacle by granting them ‘honorary man’ status—after all, as someone told me once “They’re almost the same as people”. As for the synchronous untriggered (?) thoughts, we’ve done it often. Now that is weird!
